This web site provides information about our recent Wilson class of 1961 50th reunion and coming events.

We want the help of all 1961 graduates of Wilson High School of Tacoma so we can build an accurate list of our classmates. Check out LISTS for Who Came, golfed and had cars in the show, and Who's Lost.

We are continuing to meet quarterly the 3^rd Friday of , January, April,  July and October at Tower Lanes at 11:30 am.  We have a conference room and the lunch is just $10.00 including tax. Our next meeting is April 20, 2012.

It helps the Reunion Committee plan ahead if you tell us you are coming.  We normally have 30 to 35 classmates.  Many come from far away, not just Tacoma.  Join us!

Memory Book

We are making progress with a lot of hard work from Judy Cartwright Smith and Sharon Temple Francis.  It will include a classmate directory from, pictures from the reunion taken by Ron Joyal, and classmate comments and life information the questionnaires sent out.

If you have not already done so, send us your biography info for the book (jsmith@oz.net  or norahs4343@yahoo.com) .  The following summarizes information to send and an example of one submitted.

Biography: Let us know what you want to share about your life since we graduated 50 years ago. If you’d, like to write out your info, please keep it under 150 words. If you prefer to fill out a sheet, attached is a Word document that you can fill out and return to us. Either way, we’d really like to hear from you by the end of February.

Photos: The book will contain the photos Ron Joyal took at the reunion. If you didn’t get your picture taken at that time and would like a current one shown, please send us a digital head shot. If we can’t get a current photo, we will enter your 1961 Nova photo.

Privacy: We will show the name, address, phone numbers and e-mail for everyone we have in the book. If you have concerns about this, please reply and ask that all or part of it is not shown.

 

The Future: 

We will continue our 3^rd Friday lunches but on a Quarterly basis starting October 21^st.   Email notices will be sent which helps keep contact information up to date.  We will also have quarterly newsletters sent with the email. The website (wilson61.com) will be continued and maybe we will have a 55^th in 2016.
